Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience in photonic integrated circuits, with work in areas such as design, characterization, fabrication processes, or packaging, and a broad understanding of the different platforms and the steps involved in developing PIC-based products.
  • Industrial experience in the development of PIC-based products is desirable.
  • High proficiency in English (minimum fluent B2/C1 level).
  • Highly proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Engineering degree in Telecommunications, Microelectronics/RF, Optics/Photonics, Physics, or a related field.

Electronic Hardware Engineer

As we spearhead our international expansion after our first three years of solid growth, we invite passionate individuals to join us on our journey.

We expect you to help us continue leading the fast-paced market of Quantum Communications in Europe and beyond.

What will you do 

  • Design and develop analog, digital, RF, and high-speed circuits for next-generation quantum communication systems.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and product designers for seamless system integration.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and trade-off analyses to evaluate design alternatives and optimize performance.
  • Generate schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and supporting documentation using industry-standard tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, etc.).
  • Perform hands-on lab testing, measurements, and debugging using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other instrumentation.
  • Support product validation, reliability testing, and compliance with relevant EMC/EMI and safety standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities.

Qualifications/Experience 

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electronic circuit design • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design, including op-amps, ADCs, DACs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs.
  • Familiarity with RF/high-speed design principles, signal integrity, and simulation software (e.g., LTspice, PSpice).
  • Experience in lab measurement techniques and debugging complex electronic systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance testing (EMC, EMI, reliability) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Embedded Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer with a strong background in designing and developing products based on the Linux operating system.

The ideal candidate thrives on product design and enjoys contributing to system architecture definition, interacting closely with hardware and software teams. This role requires deep expertise in customizing embedded operating systems using advanced build environments.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Bring-up of embedded products across multiple architectures.
  • Customize and maintain tailored Linux OS distributions.
  • Develop and integrate system services using (e.g. systemd, D-Bus)
  • Evaluate and implement robust software update mechanisms.
  • Implement device hardening measures, including Secure Boot, root files system encryption, and interface access control.
  • Contribute to defining and continuously improving the QA and validation process

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Languages: C, C++, Python, Shell scripting, Rust is a plus.
  • Strong experience in low-level and system-level programming.
  • Expertise with build environments (e.g. buildroot, Yocto).
  • Familiarity with build tools such as make, CMake.
  • Experience with U-Boot, device tree, drivers, and UEFI.
  • Knowledge of update frameworks such as SWUpdate, RAUC, Mender, including dual-partition/rollback mechanisms.
  • Understanding of Secure Boot, rootfs encryption, and integrity verification.
  • Proficient with Git and related workflows.
  • Experience integrating build pipelines into CI/CD environments is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of USB, Ethernet, and board bring-up processes.
  • Basic electronics knowledge, ability to read schematics and datasheets.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with hardware engineers during system design.
  • Experience working in Agile and V-model environments.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical, automotive, or aerospace) is a plus.
