LuxQuanta Wins Europe’s Top Startup Award at GITEX EUROPE 2025

LuxQuanta has been awarded the Grand Prize of the Supernova All-Stars Pitch Competition at the inaugural edition of GITEX EUROPE 2025, winning a €50,000 equity-free prize!
Held in Berlin from May 21 - 23, the win marks the culmination of a highly competitive pitch marathon featuring 750 startups, from which only 100 were selected to pitch at the event. LuxQuanta rose to the top, impressing a jury of experienced venture capitalists, tech leaders, and innovation experts.
The GITEX Supernova All-Stars is fast becoming a benchmark for identifying not only Europe’s most promising startups and business models, but also serving as a launchpad for the continent’s next wave of unicorns Start-ups.
This recognition continues to position LuxQuanta on the international radar of investors, corporates, and ecosystem builders. A critical step in supporting our mission to bring Quantum-Safe Security to businesses and institutions worldwide.

Vanesa Díaz, CEO of LuxQuanta, delivered a compelling 2-minute pitch during the semi-finals, where over 100 startups competed for a spot in the grand finale.After being selected as a finalist, LuxQuanta presented again before a new jury, facing off against nine other groundbreaking companies, each working to shape a better future.
The jury, composed of top-tier angel investors and deep-tech experts, carefully assessed the quality of each pitch and the strength of the underlying business models.
Vanesa beautifully summarized our journey in just two minutes, highlighting LuxQuanta’s mission to secure digital communications, the recent launch of the second generation of NOVA LQ, the challenges ahead, and most importantly, the incredible team turning our vision into reality.

This award is more than a recognition of a great pitch; it is a validation of our core mission: securing data in the quantum era.
Our flagship product, NOVA LQ®, brings Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) to real-world telecom infrastructures using Continuous Variable QKD (CV-QKD). This allows organizations to adopt next-generation encryption without the need to overhaul existing networks.
