ELISABETH LLANOS | FROM MASTER'S STUDENT TO R&D ENGINEER

At the beginning of the year, we proudly announce the incorporation of a young Master’s student, Elisabeth Llanos, joining us to conduct her thesis on Optical Phase Tracking for Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution using Machine Learning techniques.

After 8 demanding months of work, study, and many obstacles along the way, we proudly announce the completion of Elisabeth’s thesis, and her integration into our team as an R&D engineer within the Optical Design group.

She will now begin working to enhance our simulation tools to drive research on our systems while also aiming to start an industrial Ph.D. with us in Integrated Photonics.

Elisabeth is a Physicist who completed her studies with a master’s in Quantum Sciences. With the goal of pursuing a Ph.D., Elisabeth states:

LuxQuanta is a unique hub of innovation in the Quantum Communications field. We work with cutting-edge technologies and provide the perfect environment to develop myself as a scientist in Integrated photonics and CV-QKD systems.
