THE CONFERENCE THIS YEAR

It has been more than a month since we were at Mobile World Congress Barcelona and LuxQuanta is still harvesting the results from the conversations that we could have at the conference.
It was the first time that LuxQuanta as a formed company was in this event and we had the luxury to join the Quantum Flagship booth with a myriad of outstanding companies and research centres from the Quantum Technologies industry. The booth was coordinated by our beloved marketing team from ICFO, who always surpasses our expectations with their hard work, and funded by the Quantum Flagship Program, a 1b€ and 10 years long large-scale and long-term research and innovation initiative funded by the European Commission, with the main goal of transferring quantum physics research from the lab to the market by means of commercial applications.

LUXQUANTA’S PARTICIPATION

LuxQuanta had the pleasure to share the exhibition floor with an impressive pannel of high-tech companies from the Quantum industry: Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, Qblox , Quside, IQM Quantum Computers. We were in the 4YFN (“four years from now”) hall where all state-of-the-art technologies are introduced to the public and that this year joined the main conference at the FIRA venue. 

On Tuesday 1st, our Business Development Director, Vanesa Diaz, joined a very interesting pannel discussion on Quantum Technologies as part of Frontier Tech Programme. The pannel explored the paradigm shift that quantum physics is driving in terms of tecnological developments, creating radical new solutions almost any industry from healthcare to manufacturing. Alongside Ilana Wisby from Oxford Quantum Computing and Enrique Lizaso from Multiverse, and moderated by Ton van 't Noordende, this session explored the most recent advances in quantum communications and computing getting remarkable attention from an audience eager to better understand the secrets of these two technologies.
